The Pakistan Water and Power Development Authority is an autonomous and independent organisation of Pakistan's Federal Government that is responsible for the state's water and power utilities. It was founded in 1958 by an act of parliament after the country's independence.

WAPDA owns and operates Pakistan's largest dams, as well as actively controlling and operating the demands and needs of Pakistan's commercial and domestic sectors. It also intends to complete five more multi-dimensional dams to meet the power sector's expanding demands.

Eligibility Requirements

WAPDA Junior Engineer Jobs are open to those with a B.E/BSc in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electronics Engineering. Junior Engineers must be between the ages of 21 and 33.

Retired Pakistan Army Subedars, Naib Subedars, Naiks, Lance Naiks, Havildars, and Soldiers are eligible to apply for Security Staff Jobs in Wapda.

Candidates for Member and Chairman positions should be retired judges from the Higher Court/Supreme Court and retired government officials (BPS-20). Middle Pass candidates are eligible to apply for the vacancies advertised in advertisement number one.
