Pakistan's Army is the Pakistan Armed Forces' Land Service Branch. Its present existence may be traced back to the British Indian Army, which was disbanded after British India was partitioned on 14 August 1947 as a result of the Indian Independence Act of 1947. (Pakistan was established as an independent state from the United Kingdom).
The Pakistan Army has roughly 560,000 active duty men, backed up by the Army Reserve and the National Guard, according to data published by the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS) in 2020.
Pakistani citizens can be recruited for voluntary military service when they reach the age of 16, but they cannot be deployed for combat until they reach the age of 18.
Regular Commissioned Officer Jobs have been declared by the Pakistan Army. In the Corps of Engineers, Corps of Signals, and Corps of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, young and qualified individuals will be recruited as Regular Commissioned Officers.
Regular Commissioned Officers will be recruited in the aforementioned corps through the 34th Technical Cadet Course, which will begin in September 2022.
